A couple nights ago I had a dream unlike any that I've ever had.
It wasn't mindblowing or really weird or anything, it just seemed really random and I don't know why I had it...
I was driving down the road and came upon a cop car kinda blocking the road, the cop was out of his car and I noticed he had a gun in his hand. I perked right up and thought "Damn, this guy's getting serious about something!" I tried to go around him when suddenly he began shooting at something off the road. Next thing I know bullets are flying, cops are shooting god knows what and I'm ducked down in the car, telling my mystery passengers to get down! I can barely see out the windshield, and I'm trying to drive around the cop cars to get out of there, when I wake up. It was pretty scary, and unlike any other dream I've had...

The following night, about 1 mile from my house, was a serious police shooting in which an unarmed 20-year old man was gunned down, shot 6 times trying to run from the police, who had responded to a burglary call.
Today there were a large number of protesters with signs gathered on the corner, with candles, flowers and photographs...I saw a woman across the street there in her driveway sobbing hard while another woman tried to comfort her. Channel 2 news was on the scene, I heard it on the radio as well. It's a very big deal, as this kind of thing simply doesn't happen in Silverton.
I was stunned to find out what had happened and immediately realized that I had practically dreamed it the night before. It seems far too coincidental to have such an odd dream, which never happens to me, not like that atleast, then have the event happen less than 24 hours from then, a mile away, which also never happens here.

I don't know what to think about this...
