So I guess we are going to try and get the fluoride removed from our drinking water... I dont know how well it will go but were going to try and get the city to stop putting it in our water supply. Any one have some good suggestions to fluoride information?

I'll see if I can dig up some peer-reviewed articles medical journals like this one on creating a negative fertility rate when I get to the college on Wednesday. It's hard to tell what would sway the water company/city more, a slew of articles by independant medical sources or a few select peer reviewed studies. best to come armed with both.

Like vaccinations, this is a very difficult matter for people to knowingly determine what is best for themselves and their children. It seems one can dig in to find the truth and come out more confused than before, with conflicting studies and medical professionals falling on both sides of the issue.

What I absolutely don't believe in, is Big Brother deciding what is best for us collectively. Water fluoridation is wrong on so many levels (BTW, my small town does not currently fluoridate our water, thankfully).

Take a look at this website. I found it randomly and had low expectations, especially considering the address, but it is actually very well done and informative. It looks at several fluoride issues, and quotes articles/journals/websites from both the For Fluoride and Against Fluoride positions. It truly helped clarify the topic in many respects for a lay person like myself. And the author cites everything in the article and has a reference page at the end.
