It seems to be coming quite desparingly clear that it is actually REALLY hard to get people fired up about something enough to Do something about it... I m sure a big part of that is the need for safety in numbers, or lack of information on What to do.. but I'm looking for possible ways to combat the Standard Apathetic who'd rather just "not care" What do you think would be helpful ways to get an Apathetic fired up about something relevant to the world beyond our small live? Also in the case of Action what are some creative ways you can think of to stir up the pot and get people willing to stand up ans SAY something? What do you think are the most pressing issues to raise awareness of and "rally the forces' so to say?

Why was it so seemingly easy to get people ready to hit the streets and be active in thier community abd world back in the sixties but now when it is just as relevant if not more people are seemingly willing to only complain or turn their heads?

I think there should be more access to places where an interested induviidual could go and discuss and debate important issuse in person with diversly like minded people.. thats just a sub thought I figured I would throw out there.. what do you think of that? Any takers?
