Check out this video shot at 'King's Dominion' themepark in Virginia last weekend.
The park is claiming that it is simply a "smoke-ring" which rose from a fake volcano ride they have, but I'm hard-pressed to believe that this is a smoke-ring. If it were smoke, it would elongate, stretch, smear, break apart and evaporate after a few seconds at the most... but this thing hovered near the themepark for about 10 mintes before moving on.
My guess is it's just like the solar-snake things made from trash bags (which I posted about a few months ago in another topic) only looped into a ring. Powered by the sun they expand, rise into the air and hover wherever they please, freaking people out along the way!
Awesome! It just seems odd that the park would step into this by claiming it's a volcano ride smoke-ring.....sorry, but no way.

It's Cloverfield

gonna have to agree no smoke ring.. but quite possible it could be a tubular balloon, odd regardless..I am curious of how long it actually was visible..
