So I just stumbled across an idea that I would like anyone who is interested to do with me. Various cultures partake in this type of practice and some individualy do it as well. Dream sharing and discussion on a continual basis, it is to aide the self with furthering their ability to memorize and learn from their dream experiences and within a community the dreams can be utilized to prepare for and act upon the subconscious messages within the whole groups dream similarities and analysis.

So I give to you the fragmented bits that I have carried back to you over the last 2 mornings, in hopes that you too will attempt to find your gems of the realm of sleep, waking sleep ect..

For clarification I personally have three different primary styles of dreaming.
* Interdimensional (which I find most therapeutic, insightful and visually stimulating) this mode of dream to me is so foregin from my natural state of life and mind, at times i am merely a traveller, and have more of an everywhere at once but moving foreward sense. Occassionally there will be interaction.

* Personal Standard these are more like real life influenced, the surroundings may be that I am familliar or representative of my life and surrounding perople, i may visit people I know, or have met and have discussions with them in some way, Common themes are running, fighting, preparing and hiding..And in this mode I tend to have the occasional Tsunami from hell dream.. I personally belive most people dream in this format.

* View Finder.. (Yes I just made that title up) this is a style of dream i have had very few times I find it very disorenting in the real life world, and frankly dread ever experiencing t again. In this mode I switch perspectives into people and bodies I have never encountered, I have experienced their entire lives through there eyes and in the particular dream it had really been utilized it was vastly dark disturbing and to me most like hell.. The sensations were disturbingly real, but the essence of my actual self, consciousness and thoughts were void from the dream. Leaving my normal life we all share quite shaken.. it took me a month or so to truly return back to my normal self..

Mainly I delve in the first two and I find interdimensional is my favorite.. though it is more of a treat that comes in spurts.

So yeah...
It is very fragmented, cause i have had a dry spelll for dreaming recently so forgive the nonlinear and disconnectedness.

I am running from something up a square saped spiral staircase in the back of an old wood building, somehting is chasing "us" I am herding the "pack" up the stairs in front of me but the two rabbits keep running down the stairs towards the danger-they look like a friends pets- After multiple times of chasing, moving and carrying them only to see them scurry towards the impending danger I realize i have to give up, move on and pray for their survival. "we" reach the top, it is a small room with a bed some wooden furiniture and table cloths, the "pack" with are switching between my group of friends and the bodies of juvenile wolves scurry into their hiding places. I hold the door which sadly is nothing but a busted up presswood with ahole along the right side near the floor and the latch is nothing but a flimsy clasp with no lock and not an ounce of strenght to withstand even the slightest jostle. I am stuck pressing against the door the dark horde of people on the other side are at the top of the stairs I only have one instant to take a chair and place it infront of the door-of course the latch is not low enough or the right shape to wedge to the chair to the door, instead it buys me a micro second of resistance to jump behind the bed, the most obvious and close spot, I know it was a feble attempt, but I wasnt goingt to alloow them to take the pack, and at least I did what i could. The (nonvisible) intruders find me quite quickly and I remember looking over at the table to one of the red wolves staring fritened at me-just before the horde burst in, I tell them with my face to hide, be silent, be brave..The intruder pins me against the wall I am the body of a woman, the head of a wolf I am The wolf mother, They begin picking tools out of somehting to remove my teeth, my molar, I believe another if not he same entity muight have begun removing a thin strand of organ just inside my right hip..my apendix? intenstine.. im not sure but it was very disturbing the whole lot and i believe upon extractionof the molar, I might have woken up..cause i dont remember more..

and since that was so long and the other dreams i have yet to rol around properly in my hands trying to make sure i have all the pieces I have with me I will let you chew on that one. I would say this dream i just posted would be some where transitionary between the Personal/dimensional.. it defiently wasnt solidly one or the other.. perhaps i actualy have a middle realm btween the two.. and i have never had a wolf's head before.. that was a bit wild.

Wow! My dreams, the rare times that I actually remember them, are pretty lame and boring. Last night, I had, maybe, sort of, a "premonition" dream. I dreamt about waking up and putting on my sweats and a t-shirt to go downstairs and do my morning treadmill workout. Then, my alarm woke me up from my dream, which I was actually quite surprised was a dream and not-real life, and began ACTUALLY getting on my workout clothes. Now, it wasn't a true "premonition" dream, seeing as the dream and real-life actions did not precisely correspond (although in my dream my room and dresser were layed out correctly and I was standing in pretty much the same spot). Instead, it was more-like a dream "about" what I was going to do. The cool part was that the dream was right before the real life actions. There wasn't a day or two gap and then a "deja vu" experience like I've had before, but I actually woke up directly from my "wake up" dream and performed the same basic actions. It was kind of a cool experience, but not exactly heart-thumping or mind blowing like your dreams, Alluscion.

Those kinds of dreams always mess with your head, The worst is the realife dream situation happening waking up only to find youre still dreaming..I wonder the signifcance of the prewakeup dream.. Perhaps it was how your brain was trying to prepare you to awaken? by reminding you of your morning timeline? Sometimes i have the phone ring-in my sleeping ears- to alert myself to come to the waking world-it is a horrible sensation.. the shrill terrifying ring followed by instantaneous thoughts of alarm, before you have even fully pulled yourself out of the dream realm, heart thmping onyl to come to the realization that the ringing phone was a farce and your brain just did that to you on its own.. It is quite amazing how the brain can replicate reality so crisply that we the viewer cant decipher it from "awake" even when stopping for a moment to question reality..(but i guess that is too how reality works doesnt it?)

Pras, have you ever tried influencing your dreams before you have them? like as you drift off to sleep perhasp think up a senario or "create" a movie in your head kinda open up the doorway to abnormal forms of thinking.. perhaps messing with your nightly thought processes can help make your dreams less "boring" as you put it.. Or maybe you arent getting the right kind of sleep? Or perhaps your just dont have enough stress and anxiety:) want me to come stress you out? I hear I can have that effect on people!!!
Im certain that the reason i have running fighting dreams is related to my subconscious anxiousness.. Or perhaps a past life..but i also find in those dreams i discover symbolic references to my existence that can aide me..or fill me with concern..and more anxiousness.. That is why I prefer the interdimensional dreaming.. its just me.. and a whole new wold of experience.. rarely any runniing..battling ect..just messages, puzzles and landscapes of beauty and emotions..knowledge and oddity

I am pretty much a low stress person. There are too many awesome things for me to be happy about than to waste time getting stressed out. But I do want to experience some really cool dream-action, so I will try your ideas of setting those situations up in my mind. It seems as though you have some sort of connection with your mind that I haven't made. It would be sweet to have that connection.

This is a strange recurring dream I had as a kid. I'm in a car ready to make a right hand turn. CCR's LOOKING OUT MY BACK DOOR is on the radio. When we make the turn, it looks like the Eifel Tower is in front of us.

Fast forward a couple years, I'm in a car with CCR on the radio with said song playing. We make a right hand turn, and there is a bridge with towers that used to be for holding cables for a train. If you use your imagination, it looks like you're heading toward the Eifel Tower. After that, I didn't have that dream again YET.

Here's the kicker, I live in that neighbourhood now.

STRANGE BUT TRUE

dont you hate it when you see a shape in your dream that is so remarkable that you feel it needs to be rememebered and possibly drawn or seen in the waking life but its just complex enough you cant fully grasp its shape inyour mind? I had that last night the "feds" were dismantling my car when i was at work and gathering information from it I didscoveerd what they had done and they sent this weird multifaceted shaped weather balloon out to the air with the contents in it to get it away from me, I pretended that i hadnt noticed the black van or the groups of people scavanging over my car and headed in the direction of the white balloon, I would say it kindof looked like one of those weird ikea lamps.. it appeard over a rental house that created a dispute with the person inside trying to gain access to the house before the "feds" could.. then the dream got sidetracked by witnessing my aunts old house(only it wasnt) and there was apparently no one home but rabbits, a duck, perhaps a penguin and cats.. and a bunch of discarded blankets and boxes.. it was weird... but i cant get that balloon out of my head..
