Why is it so damn hard for the newscasters reporting on non american politics to CLARIFY what the hell they are reporting on? I swear that they intentionally make it confusing and full of opinion and emotional reactions to blibits of information, and if you want the real story it seems as though you basically have to spend 4 days surfing the internet to get the real report.

I just want to know what the heck is going on in the world not have some drone shove his opinion on something I dont understand down my throat.

I realize that these statements also relate to american issues as well but it makes it even harder that it is especially murky when it is in a different country that we have no real context of understanding due to geographical limitations ect....

It doesn't help that the media skims over big stories, boiling them down to a 30-second clip, and then goes on to spend 10 minutes talking about Britney Spears' mental health issues.
Every network is equally guilty of this, it drives me friggin crazy.

Heres a prime example of the ineptitude of the news reports.
Today.
Breaking news, car jumps curb in Manhattan pins man to curb infront of the courthouse.
Okay.
Shocking story.
The news castress, focus is purely on the shockingness. Using the word "imagine," and "shocking" trying to get you to FEEL like the people who were just waiting for their coffee, or heading into the courthouse to do their jobs..
Not ONE mention of why, or who was driving, the driver infact is never mentioned{big enough of a story tomake breaking headlines, but not enough to report on the driver}..
It is as if this car took matters into its own hands and did the whole thing by itself.
There was a graphic description of the poor man who was pinned, and how they had to remove him, and that no one knew how he was doing at that time..
but still I found it MIND BLOWING, that there was not even a BREATH on who did it or what they suspect had happend...(usually newscasters are full of speculation..so it makes it even more confusing)
All they had to say to make me satisfied was that they had yet to recieve any information on the driver or why it had happend. But they were too busy trying to make me afraid to walk by a courthouse and trying to get me to visualize the gory horror of some one who had been hit by a car.. And it wasnt even fox news.. Shame.
