Maybe if the stock market wasn't so freaking jumpy, then accidental/fake news reports wouldn't be able to mistakenly send shockwaves through the entire economy. It's kinda ridiculous. Steve Jobs had a heart attack = Apple shares plummet immediately.... nice.

What I'd really like to see is a story from The Onion getting picked up by a major news network, that would just put a smile on my face
