After having his Attorney General Eric Holder state that the Obama Admin. would no longer have federal agents raid marijuana shops in states where it is medically legal, many thought that it was a good sign of his overall attitude towards it.
Well, so much for that.
In one condescending move, he not only mocks marijuana advocates, but also anyone who believes we could make a $#ITLOAD of money by taxing and regulating it, AND apparently the entire "online" community, who is apparently a bunch of loser stoners. Nice one Obama. You mean that same "online community" that worked so tirelessly to help get your ass elected? The energetic, youthful, grass-roots "online" movement that helped raise all those funds and promote your effing candidacy?
On every subject, every question, Obama almost always gives thoughtful, in-depth answers. It's one thing he's known for.
But when it comes to addressing the serious issue of marijuana legalization, it's all just a joke.

Hmmm, this clip seemed awfully short, though. He said (paraphrase), "No, I don't think legalizing marijuana is a good strategy for improving the economy...." then the clip ends. Did he say any more or immediately move on to the next topic? It seems he was maybe going to elaborate as to why. Maybe not?

He didn't elaborate. That is all he had to say on the issue. Dismissive and dodgy. Watch it again. He ends it with "So..........alright.." and you can tell he's moving on.
It would be nice if he gave some sort of rationale for his "decision" to the top-rated question in his online 'Citizens Guidebook' thing on his website. It dominated so many other issues, and got thousands upon thousands of votes for him to address seriously....and he gives this chuckling "silly stoners" response. Wow.
Nevermind that the economy's in the $hitter, and we're pumping out tax money into bankster bonuses. And our state gov'ts across the nation are bankrupt. Nah... don't bother addressing something could actually help the situation and bring in some money, not to mention put a serious damper on all this "Mexican Drug War" crap that's going on right now which exists solely because the drugs are illegal, hence the smuggling, hence the criminal drug-lords, hence the violence etc etc...
Nope, don't address any realistic perspective on the issue. Just chuckle!
